JUNYA WATANABE VINTAGE LINGERIE JACKET S/S 2004

Blazer in soft technical fabric with transparencies, presented in the memorable spring summer 2004 show by Junya Watanabe for Comme des Garcons.

This deconstructed jacket, of sartorial construction, is emphasized by a series of cuts on the torso that make the geometric play on the waistline a focal point. The zigzag stitching creates ribbing and recalls the world of corsetry. Some panels are lined in contrasting orange, where there is no lining, the garment appears transparent. It closes with two buttons on the front.

Good pre-loved condition, there are some small black stains on the orange lining, probably due to an incorrect wash, however they are not visible when the garment is worn.
